I was born into a humble family and grew up witnessing firsthand the challenges and hardships society faces. Even without holding any official position, I have consistently worked to address people’s problems and support those in need. Setting aside personal comforts and conveniences, I have dedicated my life to serving and developing society and continue to live a simple, principled life.

Respected elders, brothers, sisters, friends, and esteemed residents of Nagarabhavi Ward, warm greetings to you all.
I humbly present myself as an aspirant to serve you in the forthcoming Bengaluru West City Corporation (GBA) election from Nagarabhavi Ward. I respectfully request that you consider me as a member of your family and grant me the opportunity to serve our community with sincerity and dedication.
Guided by a deep commitment to social service, I have been working tirelessly for several years—without holding any official position—to address public concerns and contribute to society’s welfare. My efforts have focused on resolving civic issues, promoting health and education, protecting the environment, and supporting our community’s overall development.
I wish to share with you the initiatives I have undertaken so far and my vision for the comprehensive development of Nagarabhavi Ward.
I’m committed to transforming Nagarabhavi Ward into a clean, safe, fully developed, and model ward with reliable civic infrastructure, clean surroundings, adequate public amenities, and a high quality of life for all residents. I am committed to being accessible and responsive to public concerns and to delivering transparent, honest, and accountable service.
Your blessings, guidance, and support are my greatest strength. I sincerely assure you that I will serve with complete dedication and integrity for the development of Nagarabhavi Ward and the welfare of all its residents.
Major Social, Humanitarian, and Developmental Activities:
Health and Medical Services:
- Recognising the importance of public health, free medical check-ups and treatment camps have been successfully organised.
- Free eye screening camps were conducted for more than 700 people. Spectacles were distributed to those in need, and cataract surgeries were arranged for 90 patients.
- Free dental check-up and treatment camps benefited 300 individuals.
- ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) screening camps were conducted for 200 people, and necessary surgeries were arranged.
- Cancer screening and awareness camps were organised to enable early diagnosis and timely treatment.
- Food, medicines, treatment expenses, and funeral assistance were provided to patients who have cancer, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS.
- Regular blood donation camps have been organised to promote voluntary blood donation and save lives.
- Submitted representations to MLAs, the Health Minister, and the Deputy Chief Minister to ensure staff recruitment and the early commencement of services at the multi-speciality hospital in Nayandahalli for the benefit of the public.
Public Interest Initiatives and Achievements:
- Mobilised public support by collecting 6,375 signatures and submitted a formal petition to Indian Railways on 16 January 2023, which successfully led to the approval and commencement of stoppages for two additional trains at Nayandahalli Railway Station from June 2023.
- Due to sustained efforts and effective coordination with Sri V. Somanna Sir and the railway authorities, four additional trains — Chamundi Express, Basava Express, Tuticorin Express, and Gol Gumbaz Express — were introduced from Tuesday, 17 February 2026, significantly improving connectivity and convenience for commuters.
Social Welfare and Humanitarian Services:
- During the COVID-19 lockdown, free meals were provided to 1,000 people each day and 1,000 at night for 45 consecutive days, totalling over 90,000 food packets.
- In addition, 10 quintals of essential food supplies were distributed to needy families, standing with the community during the difficult pandemic period.
- Every winter, blankets are distributed to approximately 500 homeless and underprivileged individuals living on roadsides, at railway stations, and in abandoned buildings.
- ₹1,00,000 was mobilised with the support of professors and students to facilitate treatment for a student affected by cancer.
- Assistance was provided in securing ₹5 lakh compensation through the civic authorities (BBMP/ GBA) for the family of a person who died due to a Snakebite.
- In 2008, ₹1,00,000 compensation was secured and deposited in the names of children who lost their parents due to illicit liquor consumption(Alcohol) in Chandapura, Anekal Taluk.
- Successfully facilitated the reinstatement of more than 25 sanitation workers (Safai Karmacharies) who had been unjustly removed from the Sports Authority of India (NSSC), Bengaluru. This effort ensured the restoration of their employment, full wages, and all rightful benefits in accordance with the directives of the competent statutory authorities.
- Orphaned and abandoned individuals found on roadsides were rehabilitated and admitted to care institutions, with support from the police department.
- Whenever a fire incident has occurred in my area, whether observed directly or reported to me, I have promptly taken the necessary steps to ensure it is brought under control, with assistance from the police and the Government of Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services.
Environmental Protection and Cleanliness:
- With the support of BBMP (GBA), more than 3,500 saplings were planted along main and internal roads in Nayandahalli and Gangondanahalli, and their maintenance was ensured.
- Regular tree plantation drives, cleanliness initiatives, and environmental awareness programs have been conducted.
- By continuously watering and carefully nurturing 1,00,000 (one lakh) saplings planted at the Jnanabharathi campus of Bangalore University, I played a key role in transforming the area into a greener ecosystem and strengthening environmental sustainability.
- Based on RTI applications filed to protect the environment, the Information Commission imposed penalties of ₹25,000 and ₹10,000 on the responsible officials, including the then Regional Director of SAI and the Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University, thereby promoting transparency and accountability.
- In 2016, spearheaded a decisive campaign against the illegal dumping of construction debris on Bangalore University land on SAI Road, Vinayaka Layout, where nearly 50 tractor loads were dumped daily, and ₹500 was illegally collected per load. Escalating the matter to the Bangalore University Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and the Governor led to a complete halt in dumping, thereby protecting public health and schoolchildren.
- Successfully exposed and stopped the illegal sand transportation in the Vrishabhavathi stream (river) with the support of print and television media and the cooperation of the concerned government departments.
- Public sanitation facilities in parks, schools, and community spaces were cleaned and maintained whenever required.
- Whenever street dogs, cows, buffaloes, cats, or birds were sick or injured, I ensured their treatment and recovery with support from NGOs and government veterinary departments.
- Responded to public requests regarding snake sightings in residential areas and ensured their safe rescue and relocation to forest habitats with the assistance of trained snake catchers.
Basic Infrastructure and Development Works:
- In 2017, took proactive leadership in securing rain-relief compensation from BBMP (GBA) for around 250 families on Arali Mara Road and Thigalara Badavane, whose homes were severely affected by heavy rains, ensuring timely assistance and protection for the affected residents.
- Drinking water contamination affecting hundreds of families was resolved within a short period through coordination with the BBMP (GBA).
- After six months of sustained effort, 40 new LED lights were installed in the ITI Layout parks at Nayanadahalli, along with new electrical poles. In addition, the remaining 35 lights in the same parks were repaired. These parks are located beside the volleyball ground and adjoin the Kailasheshwara Temple.
- Non-functional streetlights were repaired, and LED streetlights were installed in several areas to improve public safety.
- Road and drainage infrastructure improvements were facilitated in various localities.
- Blocked drains were cleared to improve sanitation and prevent flooding.
- Drinking water supply was arranged during periods of shortage.
- Borewells were facilitated in areas facing water scarcity.
- Alternative water arrangements were implemented when the Cauvery water supply was disrupted.
- In 2018, took a proactive initiative by participating in the Vijaya Karnataka Phone-In programme and directly engaging with BWSSB Chairman Tushar Giri Nath, resulting in the sanction and implementation of an underground drainage system from Nayandahalli Government Primary School to the Railway Station at a cost of ₹36 lakh, significantly strengthening sanitation and public infrastructure in the area.
- Actively pursuing the repair of the lift at the pedestrian overbridge near Nayandahalli Metro Station through continuous correspondence with the concerned department, ensuring early resolution for the convenience and safety of the public.
Education and Student Support:
- In 2010, when some students at Government Science College (now part of Nrupathunga University) struggled to afford lunch, I took the initiative to raise the issue with the college faculty. With the generous support of the college staff, a mid-day meal program was launched for students, and it continues successfully to this day.
- Provided free academic coaching to more than 1,000 students, helping them achieve improved academic performance.
- Ensured transparency in student scholarship distribution and prevented misuse.
- Distributed bicycles and provided financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students.
- Provided career guidance and personality development support to over 3,000 students.
- As General Secretary of the Government Science College, Nrupathunga Road, Bengaluru, I took action to stop unauthorised fee collection.
- Organised educational and awareness programs, including Science Day, Teachers’ Day, and commemorative events honouring national leaders.
Social and Sports Activities:
- Successfully organized the “Nayandahalli 10K Run” with an expenditure of ₹8,00,000, promoting public health awareness, fostering a culture of fitness, and strengthening community unity. Winners from all age groups in the 10 km and 3 km categories were honoured and presented with prizes.
- Conducted free yoga and fitness training programs, helping youth prepare for physical examinations for public service.
- Advocated for improved sports infrastructure and facilities for aspiring athletes.
Leadership, Recognition, and Personal Integrity:
- Participated as the Chief Guest in various educational and social programs.
- In my capacity as a Post Forum member under the Department of Posts, I have helped resolve the grievances of many individuals, ensuring timely support and justice.
- Received recognition and honours from various social, educational, and community organisations.
- Having devoted my life to societal development, I have put aside personal comforts and advancement, and I continue to live in a modest rented house with a monthly rent of ₹3,150, upholding simplicity and integrity.
Future Vision and Development Priorities
“The moment I am elected, I will step directly among the people through Janata Darshan, listen to their concerns firsthand, and take immediate action to resolve urgent issues on priority. With strong commitment and accountability, I will implement the following key development initiatives to ensure the holistic and sustainable progress of our area.”
Healthcare
Every resident will receive treatment and medicines for all illnesses—minor or major—at our ward’s government hospital. No one will have to spend extra money on healthcare elsewhere. Free yoga and exercise training will also be provided for all.
Employment
Our youth should never have to struggle in search of employment. We will create opportunities through job fairs and provide free training for government jobs, ensuring every young person can build a secure and successful future.
Infrastructure
To ensure reliable access to essential services, including clean water, electricity, roads, sanitation, and public spaces.
Social Security
I will ensure that old-age pensions, widow pensions, and pensions for persons with disabilities, as well as Sandhya Suraksha benefits, reach every eligible beneficiary promptly and without any obstacles. No deserving citizen will be denied their rightful social security.
Education
To ensure that government schools provide high-quality education comparable to private institutions and are accessible to all children regardless of economic background.
Clean, Safe, and Sustainable Community
To promote cleanliness, environmental protection, and public safety.

The work I have done is not backed by authority, but by commitment. Give me an opportunity, and I will multiply my service with greater strength and responsibility.
- For me, elections are not an investment for profit — they are a sacred responsibility. I seek your support not to gain power, but to serve with honesty, transparency, and accountability.
- I do not believe in temporary promises or short-term benefits. My vision is for lasting, inclusive, and meaningful development that improves the lives of every family.
- In your happiness and in your struggles, I will stand with you — as a grandson to older people, a son to seniors, a friend to equals, and a brother to the younger generation. Your trust will be my greatest strength, and your welfare will be my only mission.
